First of all, thank you for stopping by! I’m overjoyed at having the opportunity to share pieces of my life with you with this blog.

So here is my story… (p.s. it’s not easy to write about yourself without sounding cliche)
It all really started in high school. I had such an appreciation for all things fashion and always felt the fashion world was calling my name. I even planned and executed a fashion show my senior year as a fundraiser for our senior prom with the help of my friends! Crazy right? But I also felt I had a calling for education and counseling. I was torn between pursuing a fashion career or going (as my dad always said) the safe route and dedicate my life to education. So I listened to my heart/dad and pursued a career in education and I couldn’t be happier. I love my job and I love that I get to meet so many precious souls and most importantly that I’m able to make a difference in their lives. With that being said, I thought, why not have it all? Why not start a fashion blog? So again, here I am! With the help of the most amazing husband+best friend+life partner I am pursuing my second passion and I couldn’t be more grateful.
With this blog I hope to share with you my style. I’m all about simple outfits but I can appreciate a pop of color. As I mentioned earlier, I am a teacher, which means I’m in work clothes all week -not a bad thing! I feel that even though it is a professional environment, we have the flexibility to have fun with our outfits. It has taken me 2 full years to fully comprehend this and by taking risks, looking at other stylish teachers and not taking advise from my college professor (more on that later), my work attire has evolved to something I can appreciate every day. I will definitely share this with you, along with other simple, day-to-day outfits.
Along with posts showcasing my day-to-day outfits and work attire, I want to give you a glimpse into our lives. October 10th marks the first year into our marriage and all I can say is -what a journey. I won’t get too deep into my thoughts and feelings on this, cause basically I’m already tearing up just thinking of how happy he has made me. But you can expect some travel journals, recipes, home decor/design and tips on hosting/entertaining -some of our favorites.
Again, thank you so much for making a stop! I hope you enjoy what you see and read.
Sincerely,
