Hello!
The other day I found myself shopping at Poppy Apparel and fell in love with this shirt. It’s so simple and powerful. Lately, we’ve heard women speak out more than ever and I couldn’t be more proud. It’s so refreshing to see this change and although it’s not a giant step, it’s a step forward.
So back to the tee, when I see “The Future is Female” I realize that it can potentially mean different things to different people. Personally, I think about the modern woman. The modern woman has an opinion and is not afraid to speak. The modern woman doesn’t care about what society has to say, as long as she is happy. She takes care of herself but cares not about what others think is “sexy”, because she is her own sexy. She also supports other women and works towards a better future. I guess I could say I work very hard to achieve all of those things, but of course I’m not perfect. I don’t always feel happy about my body or do as I please without care about what others think. To me, though, small changes in the way I think and act go a long way.
